Ok!  Now onto the good stuff!  I’ll switch over to baby blue for my little man Brody!!

Candice (the new mama), emailed me a few months ago asking if I do birthing photos (hooray!).  We finally got a chance to meet up a few weeks ago, and GOOD THING!  Because Mr. Brody decided to come EARLY!  Corey (new daddy) texted me that Candice was in labor, and then just a few hours later, updated me that she was 9 CENTIMETERS!!  Woohoo!  So I rushed myself over there, and was WAY TOO excited.

I don’t know what it is.  Before having my own precious son, I was never a gushy, lovey dovey baby person.  Not to mention that the thought of giving birth not only horrified me, but I didn’t realize the beauty of it.  After becoming pregnant, I loosened up, had some WONDEFUL support, and truly, my birthing experience was amazing.  There is no rush, no fulfillment, I can’t even think of the word…but there is no feeling in the world that even comes close to seeing your child for the first time, after laboring for hours and picturing their face through each contraction. 

Watching and being a part of Candice, Corey and Brody’s night was such an honor.  I laughed, I cried, oooh I was an emotional mess!  Here is a sneak peak of our “session” (haha), and it really does not do it justice.  Candice and Corey, thank you!  What a treat to be part of your big day.  I have no doubt you will be fabulous parents.

The new family!  Corey was SUCH a great coach, and I really don’t think I heard Candice complain one time!  She was a tough cookie, and such a sweet mama!!  EEEEEh congrats, guys!!
